Wicker

A fisherwoman shunned by her conservative seaside village commissions a husband from the local basketmaker, and the man woven for her turns out to be more than she bargained for. Wicker adapts Ursula Wills-Jones's short story "The Wicker Husband" as a comic fable about sex, marriage and social convention, with Olivia Colman as the fisherwoman, Peter Dinklage as the basketmaker and Alexander Skarsgård in a practical wicker suit built by Wētā Workshop. Elizabeth Debicki is also in the cast. Eleanor Wilson and Alex Huston Fischer, who made Save Yourselves!, wrote and directed, and Anna Meredith's score leans on recorders. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
