Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother

The title of Bassam Tariq's thriller comes from a hadith in which the Prophet Muhammad, asked who most deserves good treatment, names one's mother three times before he names the father. In Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother, Mahershala Ali plays Latif, a devout hitman who has to get his children across Houston after his wife dies while dangerous men close in and his beliefs start to fray. Giancarlo Esposito, Tramell Tillman, John Cho and Tiffany Boone share the cast, Son Lux wrote the score, and the film, released by Amazon MGM Studios, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
