Yoga at Historic Spanish Point

Mindful movement paired with breath work and time outdoors is the plan for this gentle, somatically guided yoga class, led by Christal of Infinity Yoga SRQ and pitched at all levels. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens runs it at Historic Spanish Point, beneath the oaks and along the water, with check-in at the Welcome Center Gazebo; mats or blankets, water, sunscreen and bug spray are on the bring list. The 30-acre campus on Little Sarasota Bay protects a village site whose shell mounds were built more than 4,500 years ago, later the Webb family’s homestead and Bertha Palmer’s gardens.
