100 Years of Modern Landscapes

As part of Landscape Architecture Month, Architecture Sarasota hosts a keynote lecture examining the design principles that defined mid-century outdoor spaces. The talk focuses on the urban transformation and environmental approaches associated with the Sarasota School of Architecture. Rather than just looking at structures, the discussion turns to how mid-twentieth-century designers integrated native ecology and climate considerations into their landmark properties. The presentation takes place in the organization’s restored 1960 headquarters.
