Barbara Jordan Quartet

A Montreal folk singer who moved through disco, pop and country bands before turning to traditional jazz and swing, Barbara Jordan now fronts her own group in Toronto and has sung at the Sarasota Florida Jazz Festival. Her first headlining appearance in the Jazz Club of Sarasota's series comes with the Barbara Jordan Quartet and a program that pairs swing and pop favorites with Great American Songbook standards. Rodney Rojas plays saxophone, Keith Carman piano and John DeWitt bass.
