Jazz at Two featuring Scotty Wright and Friends

Scotty Wright toured with Up With People, which he joined in 1970, and later worked clubs alongside Art Pepper and Jack Sheldon before devoting himself to jazz alone. Known for a warm tone and playful scat, he brings the Scotty Wright Quartet back to the Jazz Club of Sarasota's Jazz at Two series at the Unitarian Universalist venue on Fruitville Road with a program billed as all new, running from blues and bossa nova through ballads to straight-ahead swing.
