Candlelight: Tribute to Michael Jackson

A classical string quartet reimagines the catalog of the King of Pop for Candlelight: Tribute to Michael Jackson. Staged inside the sanctuary at St. Boniface Episcopal Church, the performance space is illuminated entirely by flickering candlelight for the hour-long recital. The instrumental arrangements strip away the original heavy studio production, highlighting the underlying melodic architecture of Jackson’s biggest R&B and pop hits. The acoustic setting reframes familiar dance tracks into intimate chamber music pieces.
