Culture Collective: Hansel & Gretel with DaCapo Society

Join Culture Collective for an enchanting evening at Sarasota Opera as we partner with the DaCapo Society, Sarasota Opera’;s community for young professionals and emerging arts enthusiasts.

The evening begins with a special pre-show reception featuring appetizers, drinks, and the opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow Culture Collective members and DaCapo Society participants. Hear from Sarasota Opera staff and connect with others who share a passion for arts and culture before the curtain rises.

Then settle in for Hansel and Gretel, Engelbert Humperdinck’;s beloved adaptation of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Follow two siblings as they venture into an enchanted forest, encounter a mysterious Gingerbread Witch, and discover courage, resilience, and the power of family along the way. Filled with lush orchestration and memorable melodies, this magical production is both accessible to newcomers and treasured by opera lovers alike.
