Curtain Raiser Dinner

The Sarasota Opera initiates its upcoming season with a formal dinner program hosted in the ballroom at Michael's On East. The social gathering serves as an elaborate preview for the company's mainstage schedule, bringing together patrons, board members, and artistic leadership. Between courses of the customized menu, resident artists from the opera company offer brief vocal performances, sampling arias and ensembles from the impending repertory. The evening functions as both a crucial fundraising mechanism and a programmatic introduction, setting the artistic tone for the months of heavy operatic production ahead.
