Film Screening of “Lightworkers”

Twelve questions, put to dozens of people he regards as do-gooders, form the spine of Lightworkers: what activism is, what one person can do, what courage, empathy and joy mean. Director Bobby Roth cut the answers into an 84-minute documentary with some three dozen participants, among them guitarist Tom Morello, the artist Shepard Fairey, David Hogg, Keith Olbermann and Jamie Raskin. Roth made it with voters in the fall midterms in mind. The Democracy Action Team of Unitarian Universalist SRQ and Fogartyville host the screening, which ends with a Zoom Q&A with Roth.
