Dance at The Bay: Dancing with Donald

The Bay Park hosts an outdoor, community-wide dance class at The Nest led by Donald Frison, the resident choreographer for Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe. Frison focuses on a different style of social dance each month, breaking down the footwork step-by-step so participants can follow along. No partner or previous training is needed to join the session. The recurring program encourages attendees to get moving under the open sky while learning foundational techniques. The relaxed environment emphasizes group coordination and rhythmic expression over formal technique, making it an accessible introduction to structured movement in a public park setting.
