Imagination Rocks!

The resident acting company at Florida Studio Theatre mounts a highly interactive children's production designed to introduce early elementary students to live performance. Part of the theater's youth series, Imagination Rocks! bypasses a traditional narrative structure, utilizing a series of fast-paced sketches, songs, and physical comedy routines that require direct audience participation. The actors prompt the children to suggest ideas, solve problems, and help push the story forward from their seats. The program focuses on breaking the fourth wall and demonstrating the mechanics of storytelling, using minimal props and high energy to keep a room of young theatergoers engaged.
