The Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota performs at First Presbyterian Church in a concert titled Knoxville Summer/Vienna Dawn. The repertoire contrasts the nostalgic, Americana tones of Samuel Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915 with the classicism of early 19th-century Vienna. The ensemble is conducted by Music Director Robert Vodnoy, focusing on chamber-scaled precision and vocal expressiveness.
