Leslie Odom Jr.

Tony and Grammy Award-winning vocalist Leslie Odom Jr. brings his versatile solo act to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Best known for his defining role as Aaron Burr in the original cast of Hamilton, Odom utilizes a full backing band to seamlessly pivot between classic jazz standards, contemporary R&B, and selections from the American musical theater canon. His live set highlights his pristine vocal control and smooth, understated phrasing, bypassing heavy theatrical staging in favor of an intimate, cabaret-style performance. The concert offers a masterclass in vocal precision from an artist who fluidly navigates the space between Broadway tradition and modern pop radio.
