Mote SEA Shark Pups & Grown Ups

An early childhood STEM program at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium introduces toddlers and their caregivers to foundational marine science concepts. Designed for children ages two through five, the interactive class utilizes role-playing, sign language, and simple science tools to explore the ocean. Each session revolves around a specific monthly theme, guiding the young participants through movement exercises and tactile activities that build scientific curiosity before they develop a fear of aquatic creatures. The collaborative structure encourages active parental involvement in early environmental education.
