Off the Page: Brad Meltzer

Novelist and comic book writer Brad Meltzer headlines this installment of the Sarasota County library system's Off the Page series. Best known for political thrillers like The Inner Circle and his historical children's biography series Ordinary People Change the World, Meltzer addresses his dual career writing across drastically different genres. During his presentation at the Venice Performing Arts Center, the author explains how his research into government conspiracies and historical archives informs both his adult fiction and his nonfiction television projects. A discussion of his character development techniques anchors the evening.
