Outlander In Concert

Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall The sweeping orchestral score of the hit television series fills the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for a live cinematic performance. Emmy-winning composer Bear McCreary's music for Outlander blends traditional Scottish folk instrumentation with robust symphonic arrangements. A full orchestra and chorus perform the sweeping themes live, synchronizing the music with key scenes and visual highlights from the time-traveling romantic drama projected onto a large screen above the stage. The concert format highlights the complex orchestrations, from the pounding Celtic percussion to the soaring bagpipe melodies that define the show's atmosphere.
