Special Cinema at The Bay: Sound of Music (Sing-Along Version)

The hills of Austria project across Sarasota's waterfront as Cinema at The Bay hosts a sing-along edition of The Sound of Music. This interactive screening encourages the audience to vocalize every Rodgers and Hammerstein composition alongside Maria and the von Trapp children. The 1965 musical shifts from a quiet viewing into a communal vocal performance under the stars at The Oval. Lyric subtitles ensure everyone can keep up with the rapid-fire syllables of "Do-Re-Mi" and the sustained notes of "Climb Ev'ry Mountain."
