Sundays at The Bay featuring the Matthew Frost Band

The sprawling lawn of The Oval inside The Bay Park hosts a late-afternoon set of classic soul and contemporary R&B from the Matthew Frost Band. Led by keyboardist and vocalist Matthew Frost, the regional ensemble is heavily grounded in the funk and Motown traditions, utilizing tight rhythm section work and soaring vocal melodies to drive their setlist. The group seamlessly transitions from faithful covers of 1970s groove anthems to their own original, retro-infused compositions. The free, open-air performance offers a relaxed, community-oriented atmosphere where residents can spread out on the grass and listen to polished, high-energy groove music right on the waterfront.
