The Sarasota Ballet’s Program Five – Paul Taylor Dance Company

The Paul Taylor Dance Company assumes the stage at the FSU Center for The Performing Arts for The Sarasota Ballet’s Program Five. Rather than performing its own repertoire, the resident ballet company has invited the modern dance institution to showcase Taylor’s athletic, emotionally charged choreography. The engagement features works that highlight the creator's musicality and influence on contemporary movement, pairing his established legacy with the evolving direction of the troupe under its current leadership. The visit provides local audiences a concentrated look at a foundational pillar of American modern dance.
