The Sarasota Cuban Ballet presents The Nutcracker

The Sarasota Cuban Ballet School mounts its annual production of the Tchaikovsky holiday standard on the Sarasota Opera House stage. Choreographed in the athletic and expressive Cuban style, the performance features the school’s pre-professional students dancing alongside international guest artists. The staging preserves the traditional narrative of Clara’s journey through the Land of Sweets while highlighting the rigorous technical precision that defines the academy’s Vaganova-based training.
