Viewpoint Lecture with Writer and Artist Tom McCarthy

Acclaimed British novelist and conceptual artist Tom McCarthy visits The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art for an engaging Viewpoint Lecture. Known for avant-garde fiction like Remainder and his work as general secretary of the International Necronautical Society, McCarthy discusses the shifting intersections between contemporary literature, consciousness, and visual media. The museum's auditorium hosts the presentation, giving local patrons a rare opportunity to hear directly from a prominent voice in modern experimental writing as he unpacks the philosophical frameworks driving his storytelling and artistic practice.
