Webinar: Career and Technical Education Explained

Administrators from Sarasota County Schools host an online informational session detailing the district's Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Broadcast via Microsoft Teams, the webinar breaks down the specific vocational programs available to middle and high school students, ranging from engineering and health sciences to digital design. District coordinators explain how these specialized curriculums integrate industry-standard certifications and dual-enrollment college credits into standard academic schedules. The digital presentation aims to clarify the application process for specialized academies and demonstrate how CTE programs prepare students for immediate entry into the local workforce or advanced technical training upon graduation.
