9 to 5

Three beleaguered secretaries decide they have had enough of their sexist, egotistical boss in the 1980 office satire 9 to 5. Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton star as the corporate trio who accidentally kidnap their manager, played by Dabney Coleman, and secretly take over the business themselves. Directed by Colin Higgins, the comedy blends slapstick revenge fantasies with genuine commentary on workplace inequality, transforming a rigid, male-dominated firm into a productive and humane environment.
