Cinema at The Bay: The Holiday (20th Anniversary)

Nancy Meyers’ 2006 romantic comedy The Holiday plays on a large outdoor screen at the The Bay park’s central lawn. Marking its 20th anniversary, the film follows two women—played by Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz—who swap homes in London and Los Angeles to escape their respective romantic failures. The community screening takes place on the grass of The Oval, where attendees lay out blankets for an evening of lighthearted, cross-Atlantic escapism.
