Circle Member Preview: 100 Years of Sarasota School Exhibition

Members of Architecture Sarasota get first access to a landmark exhibition documenting the legacy and mid-century modernism of the Sarasota School of Architecture. The exhibition serves as the culmination of a four-year research initiative that surveyed over 1,700 regional structures tied to the movement. The morning preview at the organization's downtown headquarters also celebrates the release of a newly updated cultural resource catalog. Viewing the collection before it opens to the public provides architectural preservationists and design enthusiasts a detailed look at how climate-driven, geometric construction defined the region's built environment.
