Forgotten Island

The animated fantasy adventure Forgotten Island follows two best friends trapped in a mystical realm rooted in Philippine mythology. Directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado for DreamWorks Animation, the 1990s-set film centers on Jo (voiced by H.E.R.) and Raissa (Liza Soberano) as they navigate Nakali, a vibrant world that gradually erases the memories of its human visitors. The voice cast includes Dave Franco as a hapless were-aspin and Lea Salonga as the dreaded Manananggal, blending coming-of-age themes with legendary folklore as the duo races to escape before forgetting each other entirely.
