Hershey

The early life and industrial ambitions of Milton S. Hershey take center stage in the biographical drama Hershey, now showing in theaters. Set at the turn of the twentieth century, the film stars Finn Wittrock as the titular confectioner and Alexandra Daddario as his wife, Catherine. The narrative traces his repeated business failures before he finally cracked the formula for mass-producing milk chocolate, eventually building an entire company town in Pennsylvania around his factory. The production details the risks and philanthropic impulses that shaped one of America's most recognizable brands.
