Jazz Thursday | Five Points Quintet

The Five Points Quintet takes over the Marcy & Michael Klein Plaza for an evening of live, outdoor music at the Sarasota Art Museum. Co-hosted by the Jazz Club of Sarasota, the ensemble features vocalist Darcie Allen, saxophonist Pete Carney, and guitarist Marc Mannino. The group performs a sophisticated blend of straight-ahead jazz and adult contemporary arrangements. The museum extends its gallery and retail hours for the event, allowing attendees to explore the current exhibitions or visit the bistro between sets. The open-air format provides a relaxed, multidisciplinary backdrop where regional musicians intersect with contemporary visual art.
