South Florida Men’s Basketball vs. Memphis

Memphis, picked second in the American's preseason coaches' poll behind Wichita State, is the Bulls' first home conference game and the second of their first three league games against preseason top-five teams. Penny Hardaway's ninth Memphis team has been turned over almost completely after a 13–19 season; guard Jayden Reid, a Northwestern transfer, made the preseason first team and forward Tylik Weeks the second, and one preseason magazine picks the Tigers to win the conference. South Florida, picked one spot lower, won 96–89 in Memphis last season.
