Underoath – Define the Great Line 20th Anniversary Tour

The Tampa-based post-hardcore pioneers Underoath return to their hometown to headline the Yuengling Center, marking the 20th anniversary of their defining album, Define the Great Line. The concert features the band performing the 2006 record in its entirety, a grueling technical achievement that requires recreating the aggressive time-signature changes and massive, detuned guitar riffs that shaped the metalcore genre. The production relies on intense strobe lighting and chaotic stage energy to match the frantic dual-vocal delivery of Aaron Gillespie and Spencer Chamberlain. The arena show serves as a high-decibel retrospective of a local act that fundamentally altered the landscape of heavy alternative music.
