South Florida Men’s Basketball vs. UAB

Last season in Tampa, UAB came back from 11 points down and beat South Florida 109–106 in two overtimes, with Chance Westry scoring 24 and Daniel Rivera making two free throws with 3.6 seconds left in regulation to tie it at 83. Andy Kennedy's Blazers finished 20–12 and were picked sixth this fall; guards Justyn Fernandez and Deuce Jones made the preseason second team. None of the Bulls from that night are on South Florida's roster now, since the program returned no one from last season's team.
