The Social Reckoning

Screenwriter and director Aaron Sorkin returns to the subject of Facebook in The Social Reckoning, a sequel to his 2010 drama The Social Network. Set during the 2021 document leaks, the film stars Mikey Madison as whistleblower Frances Haugen and Jeremy Strong taking over the role of Mark Zuckerberg. The narrative follows Haugen's collaboration with the Wall Street Journal and the tech CEO's preparations for Congressional hearings, tracing how the platform's algorithms shaped modern political divisions and misinformation.
