Viper Series #2

Sailors return to the waters of Sarasota Bay for the second installment of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron's Viper Series. This competitive racing event challenges regional crews in a rigorous one-design format, demanding precise boat handling and strategic mastery of shifting coastal winds. Spectators gathered on City Island can observe the fleet navigate tight turns around the buoys and manage the challenging tidal currents of the bay. The regatta continues the Squadron's winter racing tradition, offering a vital testing ground for tactical sailing skill.
