Your Wednesday Playdate

A morning session in the Peggy A. Hall Classroom at the Sarasota Art Museum caters specifically to early learners and their caregivers. "Your Wednesday Playdate" combines an interactive story time with a hands-on art project, led by a professional teaching artist. The program introduces toddlers and preschoolers to basic artistic concepts and materials in a structured, highly supervised environment. Rather than simply touring the galleries, participants engage directly with physical media, practicing fine motor skills and creative expression. The recurring classroom gathering provides a dependable, low-pressure introduction to the museum campus for the area's youngest residents.
