Buzzelli Multihull Regatta

Catamaran crews navigate the waters of Sarasota Bay in a high-speed test of tactical skill and boat handling during this competitive sailing event. Hosted by the Sarasota Sailing Squadron, the regatta serves as a youth qualifier for the Nacra 15 class, drawing agile, twin-hulled vessels known for their rapid acceleration. Spectators on the shore can watch the fleet jockey for position at the starting line and execute sharp tacks around the course markers. The races require intense physical coordination from the sailors as they manage the wind and currents, offering a display of precision sailing in one of the region's premier venues.
