Jazz Thursday at the Sarasota Art Museum

Live jazz fills the exterior courtyard of the Sarasota Art Museum during this collaborative evening with the Jazz Club of Sarasota. The outdoor performance on the plaza runs concurrently with extended museum hours, allowing the audience to engage with the current contemporary exhibitions between sets. The format breaks the traditional boundaries of a sit-down concert, encouraging listeners to wander the grounds, visit the bistro, and experience the music as an integrated part of the gallery environment.
