Larger Than Life

The synchronized choreography and five-part harmonies of the 1990s pop explosion are resurrected during this tribute concert at the Manatee Performing Arts Center. The group covers a massive catalog of boy band hits, meticulously replicating the vocal arrangements and iconic dance routines of *NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, and One Direction. The performers recreate the specific aesthetic of the era, from matching streetwear to dramatic ballads performed on stools. The afternoon show bypasses irony to deliver a high-energy, nostalgic retrospective of the music that dominated TRL and defined a generation of commercial pop radio.
