NuJazz Annual Winter Holiday Show

The NuJazz Ensemble brings its signature brass-heavy arrangements to the Manatee Performing Arts Center for an evening of reimagined seasonal standards. The annual winter concert bypasses traditional orchestral arrangements, injecting classic holiday repertoire with the syncopation and improvisational solos characteristic of modern jazz and funk. The setlist features complex horn section work and driving rhythm sections that reinvent familiar carols. The performance offers a high-energy, technically demanding alternative to standard holiday choral concerts, appealing to listeners who prefer their seasonal music delivered with a distinct, contemporary groove.
